Nina Prader is an artist-librarian, artist, writer and curator. For 10 years she has been making and publishing art, monuments, and discursive formats under the label Lady Liberty Press. Her most recent project is an alternative library project: Lady Liberty Library and showroom that spatially brings together years of independent artistic research on independent printed matters and interdependent exchanges with independent publishers and collectives. From punk beginnings in a card board box to solo and collective zineship mobiles, these pop-up library structures combined art production and distribution with notions of community gardening, activating public expression, and situated the library as a tool for healing and connection through artist publishing. For 6 years, she has been part of the Indiecon team, co-organizing and co-curating the festival in various roles with a burning passion for printed matters.
