CAOS NUNCA MURIO: Some Notes on Latin American Queer Publications

Profundo Ediciones, invites you to a roundtable discussion on contemporary publications from the Latin American queer scene. Participants will include Vis from Lafat bourdie, S. Ymai from Comidillo, Alejo Chavez from Caos de Mar, Alicia Luz Rodríguez from Lesbianas Concentradas and Inmensidades from Profundo ediciones. The conversation will focus on how the LGBTIQ+ community of Abya Yala is carving out a space for itself in the world of international publishing by bringing to the forefront the intersection of gender, class, and oppression. The discussion will feature publications ranging from pop to punk, addressing topics such as sex work, malpractice in transgender communities, femicides, and the romantic poetics of resistance.
