Bizarre Identities: Horror Masks & Wearable Zines

Participants will choose a Riso-printed face template and develop their own bizarre alter ego through drawing, writing, collage, cutting, folding, and three-dimensional additions. They will also work with graphic accessories, stickers from Manila, mini identity zines, and handmade star-shaped “Possessed Wax Colors” created from reused crayons.

The finished masks can be worn and documented at the Possessed Portrait Booth while K plays a live DJ set. Each participant will leave with their completed mask, mini-zine, stickers, collectible pin, and workshop kit.

No previous experience is required. The workshop is open to all ages. Children under 12 should attend with a parent or guardian.

Meeting Point: Maker Space

Language: English, Filipino/Tagalog, French and Japanese. The workshop is highly visual and can also be followed by participants with limited English.
