The publishing industry has a massive environmental impact, but very few steps are being taken to tackle this problem. Unfortunately, simply printing on recycled paper is not the solution (it could actually make things worse). At Neue Narrative, we wanted to do things differently when we launched our magazine in 2017. We will share the experiences and challenges we had - and still have - in trying to produce the most sustainable magazine possible and become a regenerative organization. We will talk about technical aspects, such as printing standards and logistics, but also about organizational processes and, most importantly, money. We invite you to share your perspective and want to identify steps each of us can take to improve our individual practices and the industry as a whole.
