fruit.html
Together with you, we want to explore what a website could be – away from commercial use. Looking back into the past, for some there is nostalgia for a seemingly bygone era of handmade web – but that part of the internet never went away. A website can be anything you can imagine it to be – something tiny and simple, a single idea, a tool, an experiment.
In our workshop we want to write about fruits and enjoy them afterwards. The language of our choice will be HTML – short for Hypertext Markup Language and the basis for coding a website. To explain it briefly a Markup Language is a way to structure and describe some piece of information, whatever that may be. Together we can learn a bit about seeing things through the lens of HTML and how that relates to writing, publishing as well as coding – and eat some delish fruit.
