Moses März introduces participants to experimental cartography as an artistic research method of translating different kinds of texts (academic, literary, encyclopedic) into lines, images and quotations. The method combines elements of the visual arts, science, geography, social activism and storytelling to share knowledge in an intuitively accessible and inclusionary manner. 

In preparation for the workshop participants are invited to bring along a text or reading notes they would like to turn into a map. Also please bring your own pencils and erasers.
