With the growing awareness of the environmental impact of physical publishing, why do we seem to neglect the digital side - the abundance of pixels in high-resolution images, the computational power of search queries or the endless number of tabs? This talk explores these questions through a demonstration/explanation of a participatory design intervention at the threshold between analogue and digital, involving the festival audience in the co-creation of a series of posters – representing an attempt to limit ourselves in the seemingly infinite expanse of the digital while placing the collective over the individual.
